MOUNT LAUREL Police Department
K-9 Overview
The modern-day police dog is used for his uncanny ability to use his sense of smell. It is often said in law enforcement that a police dog's nose is like a flashlight in the dark. A well-trained police dog is a living breathing machine.
The bond between man and dog goes back to the beginning of time. We at the Mount Laurel Police Department are proud to use man's best friend to keep our community safe. The K-9 unit is one of the most highly selective units to become part of in any unit of police work.
